About Drayford Driver

Drayford Driver is a GPS tracking application operated by Drayford. It is used by freight drivers to share their real-time location with the company dispatching their load and with that load's customers during active shipments.

Information We Collect

When you use Drayford Driver, we collect the following information:

• GPS location data — Your device's geographic coordinates are collected approximately every 15 minutes while tracking is active.
• Device information — Basic device identifiers to associate location updates with your active load.
• Driver and load identifiers — Your name and the load number you are tracking, as provided by dispatch.

How We Use Your Information

Your location data is used to:

• Share your current position with dispatch so they can coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Provide shipment tracking updates to customers who are expecting their freight.
• Generate an arrival history for the load to confirm on-time performance.

Data Sharing

Your location data is shared only with the dispatch personnel of the company running your load and the customers associated with your active load. We do not sell, rent, or share your location data with any third parties.

Data Retention

Location data is retained for the duration of the load plus 30 days after delivery is completed. After that period, location records are permanently deleted from our servers.

Your Control Over Tracking

You are in control of when tracking is active. Location data is only collected while you have an active tracking session. You can stop tracking at any time by pressing the “Stop” button in the app. Once tracking is stopped, no further location data is collected until you start a new session.

Background Location Access

Drayford Driver requests background location permission so that tracking continues even when the app is minimized or your screen is off. This ensures uninterrupted location updates during your haul. Background location access is only used while a tracking session is active.

Data Security

Location data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on secure servers. Access is restricted to authorized dispatch personnel only.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
